Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our site engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical and electrical installations meet our design specifications.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading MEP design consultancy on various projects across different sectors. You will be working closely with our design team, contractors, clients, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • You will be responsible for supporting project teams in developing delivery services for Mechanical or Electrical installations.
  • Ensure specification and design documentation requirements are incorporated into contractor's installation drawings and work on site.
  • You will define reference sample installations and ensure they are followed throughout the project installation by the contractor and our inspectors.
Responsibilities
  1. Review and comment on Contractor's shop drawings.
  2. Review and comment on Contractor's material submittals.
  3. Review and comment on Contractor's installation quality.
  4. Respond to Contractor's technical queries.
  5. Witness testing and commissioning of electrical/mechanical installations.
  6. Attend site meetings as required.
Requirements
  • HND or electrical/mechanical engineering degree or have sufficient equivalent experience.
  • Membership or in-progress application for membership of appropriate professional body.
  • Strong familiarity with Electrical or Mechanical services designs, drawings, specifications and standard installation details for multiple building types.
