Product Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to play a pivotal role in transforming initial concepts into viable commercial products.

  • The successful candidate will work across multiple functions to develop innovative products, collaborating closely with the PD Lead to identify development needs within our existing range.
  • Conduct market research to validate new product ideas using a customer-centric approach, ensuring they meet the expectations of Western consumer markets.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers, communicating requirements such as specifications, costs, MOQ, lead time, order and evaluate samples to select the ideal supplier for each project.
  • Coordinate with product designers, legal, compliance, and quality teams to ensure suppliers meet compliance, quality, and specification standards.
  • Work with marketing teams or external agencies to ensure timely completion of marketing-related deliverables according to brand guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines, keep stakeholders updated, and ensure each project is completed and launched on schedule.
About This Role

This is a remote position that requires strong collaboration and communication skills.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product development role, ideally within the baby, kids or toys categories, with end-to-end experience from ideation, validation, sourcing, sample validation, quality inspection, and mass production.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and motivated to push projects forward with limited supervision.
  • Good understanding of Western consumer markets for product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience dealing with suppliers in and out of China.
