Mobile Application Developer Position

At our company, we are seeking an exceptional Android Engineer to join our mobile team. As one of our developers said, "Our technology is like a powerful engine, but it needs a well-designed car to showcase its capabilities." We need someone who can help us improve our Android SDKs and mobile apps.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance Android Microblink SDKs, collaborate with our design team on UX improvements, and contribute to establishing good engineering practices in software development. You will also be responsible for providing support to developers integrating our SDKs.

Here are some key responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve Android Microblink SDKs and contribute to developing demo applications that show how the SDK is used and what is possible with it.\
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement UX improvements.\
  • Collaborate with other development teams on the integration of new SDK functionalities.\
  • Participate in decision-making related to the end-user experience and developer experience.\
  • Contribute to establishing good engineering practices in software development.\
  • Provide support to developers integrating our SDKs.\
  • Mentor and coach team members to bring out the best in them.\
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile development.\\[/ul]\

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

  • \
  • 5+ years of experience in Android development.\
  • Outstanding coding abilities with Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK (version 5.0 and up).\
  • Knowledge of how to write sustainable, modular, and efficient code.\
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to API design and developer experience in SDK integration.\
  • Interest in following the latest trends in mobile development.\
  • Mentored, coached, and developed team members to bring out the best in them.\\[/ul]\

A plus if you also have:

  • Experience with Kotlin programming language.\
  • Experience developing an entire Android application.\
  • Experience working with Android NDK and C++.\
  • Interest in cross-platform development.\\[/ul]\
