Senior Data Engineer Role

Ey is seeking a senior data engineer to contribute to data ingestion, processing and analytics initiatives and to support growth within a leading firm.

We are looking for a Senior with expertise as a Data Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data ingestion, data processing and analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, NoSQL and data warehouse solutions.
  • Implement data migration, data processing and Big Data solutions.
  • Collaborate on programming with Python, Scala, and Hadoop where applicable.
  • Support DevSecOps and CI/CD deployments where applicable.
  • Work with SQL and procedural SQL languages; experience with NoSQL data stores is a plus (e.g., HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB).
  • Contribute to enterprise-grade solution implementations and translate business problems into technical solutions considering security, performance, and scalability.
  • Engage in strong analytical thinking, debugging and optimisation tasks.
