Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Social Media Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, developing engaging content, and growing our online presence.

This is a full-time remote position that requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing.

  • Create and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals
  • Develop engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Manage community engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Maintain a consistent visual style across all content

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of content creation, digital strategy, and patient-first storytelling. They will also have experience with short-form video editing and email marketing platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation (healthcare industry experience a plus)
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to brand tone and patient-first communication
  • Experience with short-form video editing (e.g., Reels, TikTok, Adobe Premiere Rush, or CapCut)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and blog writing best practices
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple content streams and deadlines
