We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to lead and support key financial, administrative, and operational functions.

This role is vital to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and efficient day-to-day administration. The successful candidate will provide oversight across accounting processes, payroll, compliance, budgeting, and general administration while supervising a small team and engaging with external stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities include assistance in preparation of monthly financial management reporting including general ledger reconciliation, stock takes (including NRV analysis), and adjusting journal entries.
  • The ideal candidate will also assist in preparation of annual budgeting including monthly variance analysis.
  • Liaising with external accountants and other government entities for taxation obligations including income tax, business activity statements, payroll tax, and fringe benefits tax.
  • Manage payroll functions including review of timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Assist with product database management and pricing from supplier and customer perspectives.
  • Supervision of other junior staff including verifying accuracy, timeliness and completeness of data input.
  • Review and maintenance of multiple email inboxes.

You must have experience in an accountant/bookkeeping role and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
