Software Engineering Talent Sourcer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for finding, engaging, and qualifying software engineering candidates for our portfolio of startup clients. Your mission will be to partner closely with our recruitment team to leverage traditional and creative sourcing methods to uncover hidden talent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with recruiters to understand role requirements, client needs, and candidate personas for highly technical positions (e.g., backend engineers, full stack engineers, infrastructure, AI/ML, product management).
  • Building and executing targeted sourcing strategies across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Slack/Discord groups, and other niche platforms.
  • Proactively engaging and following up with passive candidates.
  • Staying on top of engineering hiring trends, emerging technologies, and talent market dynamics to continuously refine sourcing strategies.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering roles, skills, and terminology (no coding required).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, AngelList, and other technical communities is a plus.
