Mortgage Processing Expert

We are seeking an ambitious Mortgage Processing Expert to join our operations team.

About the Role:
  • Manage 10-15 mortgage applications monthly, progressing to full capacity (40+ applications) within 90 days.
  • Work closely with our Senior Loan Processor and Strategy team to develop expertise across all application types.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and submit mortgage applications prepared by our strategy team with exceptional attention to detail.
  2. Start with simpler refinance applications and progress to complex purchase scenarios under guidance.
  3. Manage application workflows using Broker Engine and Apply Online platforms.
  4. Coordinate with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers, and various third parties.
  5. Handle discharge processes with outgoing lenders and manage settlement coordination.
Requirements:
  • Mortgage processing experience preferred but exceptional candidates new to the industry will be considered.
  • Understanding of Australian lending landscape is required.
  • Proficiency with Apply Online or similar platforms is necessary.
  • Administrative or customer service background demonstrating attention to detail and client focus is required.
  • Technology comfort for learning new systems and optimizing digital workflows is essential.
