We're seeking a seasoned WordPress professional to fill the role of Development Lead.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a group of developers, promoting collaboration and ensuring effective execution of projects to meet deadlines.

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative environment and driving project success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the development team, management, and clients, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and timely updates on progress.
  • Solve problems and resolve conflicts when necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Becoming the lead developer on multiple high-profile projects and overseeing their successful implementation.
  • Collaborating with designers and writers to bring projects from concept to completion.
  • Designing and implementing responsive and adaptive user experiences that prioritize accessibility and performance.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of emerging trends in web development, WordPress, and related technologies.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a WordPress developer using custom-built themes, including multisite configuration, custom themes, plugins, ACF, and Gutenberg editor.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Agile methodology.
  • Experience working with front-end technologies, including SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Familiarity with backend developments, such as WordPress, PHP, MySQL, API integrations, JSON, and XML.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, including React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue.
  • Experience with Webflow, Sketch, Invision, WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot.
