Join our team of skilled professionals as we work together to protect Australia's most sensitive data. Vault Cloud is the national leader in providing highly secure and scalable sovereign cloud capability to various sectors.

We are looking for a talented Automation Engineer who can develop and maintain test automation frameworks, write and execute automated tests, create detailed test plans and technical documents, and participate in agile delivery processes.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with container management and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Rancher/K3s. They should also have expertise in testing lifecycle, API testing, and IT quality assurance process improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts.
  • Create and document detailed test plans, performance briefs, implementation guides, and other technical documents detailing configurations, test methodology results, and best practices.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews/showcases.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and problem identification.
Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with container management and orchestration technologies.
  • Hands-on testing experience with cloud and container solutions, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code frameworks.
  • Expertise in testing lifecycle, API testing, and IT quality assurance process improvement.
  • Experience working within agile delivery processes (Kanban and Scrum).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication skills with senior leadership.
