Job Description

A Medical Services Liaison plays a pivotal role in facilitating patient communication and resolving their queries. By actively listening to patients, they identify their needs and coordinate information between patients, family members, medical personnel, and administrative staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming calls according to established protocols and departmental standards.
  • Provide assistance to patients with their inquiries and concerns.
  • Gather patients' outstanding balances.
  • Support third-party entities, such as insurance companies, with questions regarding patients' accounts.
  • Maintain outbound communication according to procedure and departmental standards.
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure confidentiality by safeguarding protected health information.
  • Foster collaboration with the team to achieve department and company objectives.
  • Maintain reliability and punctuality, adhering to good attendance and timely return from breaks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PREFERABLY A COLLEGE GRADUATE OR AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF COLLEGE STUDY.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.
  • The ability to handle confidential information is required.
  • Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Proficient in using email for correspondence.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with adaptability.
  • Flexibility with schedule is required for efficient workflow.
  • At least 1 year of call center experience related to medical accounts and programs is a plus.
