Job Summary

This is a home-based Junior Financial Analyst position that involves supporting financial planning and analysis for our organization.

The ideal candidate will assist in gathering, developing, and consolidating annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts, as well as providing support for near- and long-term P&L forecasting and financial budget/forecast revisions focusing on cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data gathering, development, and consolidation of annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts.
  • Support near- and long-term P&L forecasting and aid in financial budget/forecast revisions focusing on cost reduction.
  • Prepare and process monthly budgets to actual review reports for cost center managers.
  • Consolidate feedback and address concerns from cost center managers.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Assist in preparing management reports related to monthly variance reports and other components of the monthly financial package.
  • Aid with ongoing regular financial budget/forecast reviews and revisions focusing on cost reduction.
  • Support the FP&A team in conducting financial reviews, presentations, and discussions with cost center managers and senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, financial management, or a related field.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software.
  • With AI experience and knowledge of using finance-oriented AI tools.
