Job Description

As a member of our highly professional team in the CTO Engineering division, you will be working alongside motivated, committed, and adaptive colleagues in an open and collaborative environment.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology stacks, including Java, Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gradle, and explore new technologies to potentially adapt them for usage within our environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining frameworks and tools for microservices running on Kubernetes, used by development teams and clients.
  • Taking ownership of some parts of the frameworks and tools.
  • Providing support to development teams working on microservices.
  • Supporting clients to adopt OpenShift container platform, install, and configure Avaloq microservices.
  • Working in an agile environment to help improve our processes constantly.
Requirements
  • A university degree in computer science, business informatics, computer/electronic engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Java development and associated frameworks (e.g.: JEE and Spring).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze and solve complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and other teams.
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with cloud architecture concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud development techniques, principles, and tools.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in using open-source libraries and tools within development projects.
