Job Overview

The Lead Automation Engineer will lead the design and implementation of automated test strategies for a comprehensive ERP platform, mentor QA team members, and drive innovative solutions to solve testing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain custom test automation frameworks using C# backend testing with UI automation.
  • Develop data management strategies using database manipulation.
  • Mentor team on framework-specific patterns and best practices.
  • Collaborate on compile-time consistency strategies across the stack.
  • Automate end-to-end tests for workflows using testing frameworks like Playwright and Selenium.
  • Design and implement test automation architecture using Page Object Model (POM) or similar design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity, Mercurial/Git, and GitHub.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in test automation for multi-platform web-based applications.
  • Experience with C# to code generation workflows.
  • SQL Server proficiency and database setup/management.
  • Test data management strategies using direct database manipulation.
  • Understanding of database-driven test scenarios.
