Senior Front-End Developer Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Front-End Developer to lead the development of complex web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.

About the Role

This is a highly technical position requiring a deep understanding of front-end development principles, spatial mapping libraries, and performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable front-end architectures for large-scale web applications.
  • Integrate geospatial mapping tools such as Mapbox, Google Maps API, or Esri into web applications.
  • Develop and maintain efficient codebases, ensuring optimal performance across various browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience developing production-level applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with React, including efficient use of hooks, state/store patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to integrate and work with geospatial mapping libraries (Mapbox, Google Maps API, Esri, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of responsive web design principles and accessibility best practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, and KMZ.
  • Exposure to telecom or utility network planning and infrastructure workflows.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), React Query, or Redux for state management.
