Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, lodging BAS, IAS, and GST reports, and assisting in the preparation of income tax returns.
They will also reconcile accounts payable and receivable, improve financial processes, and internal controls for efficiency.
Additionally, they will liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Lodge BAS, IAS, and GST reports in compliance with ATO regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Australian accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, BAS/GST, and ATO compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Outlook, and Excel) is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
