Job Role

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring that sales targets are met and company policies are enforced.

  • This includes developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • The Store Manager will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising store staff, as well as monitoring their performance and providing feedback.
  • In addition, the Store Manager will be expected to maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the exterior and interior of the building, as well as the stockroom and back areas.

Key Accountabilities
  • To develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • To manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are ordered and received in a timely manner and that stockroom and display areas are maintained at optimal levels.
  • To recruit, train, and supervise store staff, including interviewing and selecting new employees, conducting performance evaluations, and providing coaching and feedback.
  • To ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, store appearance standards, and customer service expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
