Remote Bilingual Interpreter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced interpreter who can facilitate communication between parties in different languages. As a Remote Bilingual Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in conveying complex ideas and emotions with precision and accuracy.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-level interpretations of spoken or written content from English into Vietnamese (and vice versa) for various industries and sectors, including business, government, and education.
  • Provide accurate and fluent interpretation services via phone, video conferencing, or in-person meetings.
  • Maintain active listening skills and intervene when necessary to ensure smooth communication.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain productivity in fast-paced environments.
  • Communicate professionally and diplomatically with clients and colleagues across cultures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required; relevant experience preferred.
  • Fluency in both English and Vietnamese (B2+ proficiency or higher).
  • Ability to pass language and interpreting skills assessment.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in call center, customer service, or interpreting roles.
  • Strong verbal communication, bilingual accuracy, and ethical decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse client groups and situations.
  • Familiarity with MS Office navigation and other relevant software.
  • Certification in translation or interpreting disciplines.
