Job Summary

The Test Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining test programs, fixtures and equipment for automated testing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic components, PCBA schematics and safety standards. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage tasks and projects to meet deadlines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop test programs, fixtures and equipment for ATE and ICT systems
  • Maintain existing test programs and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest technology and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test specifications and validate test setups for production
  • Evaluate new technologies and coordinate updates for test tools and software

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PCBA and product testing, including ICT (In-Circuit Test) and/or FCT (Functional Circuit Test)

Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCBA schematics and safety standards
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW, C, and C++ (preferred)
  • Experience with JTAG and standard communication protocols (preferred)
  • Ability to manage tasks and projects to meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with experience in cross-functional and international teams
