Accounting Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage our daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely financial records.
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage payment runs and maintain organized documentation.
  • Oversee employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
  • Record all financial transactions with attention to detail.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare cash flow analysis and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Support the month-end close process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.

This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. You should have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential for effective collaboration across teams.
