Job Overview

As a Project Manager for Core Business Delivery, you will manage project timelines, ensure timely delivery of activities, create work plans, and handle technical issues and risks. You will also be responsible for submitting regular reports and maintaining project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all activities in the project lifecycle across one or more lines of business
  • Develop, review, and implement changes on internal innovation/project management processes aligned with enterprise policies and procedures
  • Prepare project charters, business cases, and obtain approval for funding
  • Identify and monitor work plans and tasks needed to achieve project goals
  • Implement control and reporting structures for project monitoring on risk and change based on defined governance methods and standard processes
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and guidelines, as well as financial governing bodies
  • Consult, lead, and coordinate project teams with business partners and stakeholders to clarify and define project requirements and business cases
  • Oversee and contribute to sourcing, negotiating, and managing outside vendors
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • At least 8 years of solid background in end-to-end Project Management experience in web/application development, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Advanced knowledge of project management practices and concepts, PMP or Prince 2 Certification preferred but not required
  • Agile/SCRUM/ITIL trained/certified is preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities especially in IT-related concepts, problems, and issues
