Job Position Summary

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) platform support specialist to join our team. This role involves providing expert technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting network issues, configuring and managing security systems, and analyzing security events from various data sources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot common network problems using advanced TCP/IP networking skills.
  • Configure, manage, and upgrade firewall systems, intrusion detection systems, internal vulnerability scanners, and intrusion protection systems platforms.
  • Analyze and respond to security events from firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion protection systems, antivirus software, and other security data sources.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Intermediate knowledge of network security concepts, information security best practices, TCP/IP networking, and popular security products such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper/NetScreen.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with strong English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Able to work independently and follow established escalation procedures.
Favorable Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in information security or networking.
  • Certifications in Security/Networking, including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, or other relevant vendor/product certifications.
