Supply Chain Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our organization as a Supply Chain Consultant. This is a full-time remote work position, ideal for individuals with significant experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ERP.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Sales Team in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), specifically for functional requirements or questions.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales Team to lead Sales Discovery sessions and determine possible solutions to customer requirements and challenges.
  3. Develop business scenarios relevant to customers based on information gathered during Discovery sessions.
  4. Configure D365 for various supply chain functions, including Order Management, Item Management, Inventory, Master Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Vendor Portal, and Manufacturing.
  5. Deliver solution demonstrations and presentations using PowerPoint and live system walkthroughs.
  6. Document proposed Solution Overviews, including possible integrations, based on RFPs and information gathered during Discovery sessions.
  7. Write design documents for customizations and reports for D365, capturing boundary conditions and including comprehensive test scenarios.
  8. Review design documents, data mapping, and integration mapping written by other team members.
  9. Lead Conference Room Pilot (CRP) and training for D365 and associated systems to clients and team members.
  10. Conduct one training session at annual University program.
  11. Write 2-3 D365 SCM functional blog articles per year.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5+ years of experience in implementing Dynamics 365 Finance Operations and Dynamics AX2012R3
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Inventory, and Master Planning
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
