Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Accountant. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and establishing financial operations across various business units.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:

You will prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Additionally, you will develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts; provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

You will create, automate, and improve comprehensive financial reports across functions to support strategic decision-making. You will deliver scheduled comprehensive updates and strategic recommendations based on financial records and analytical reports to ensure organizational financial hygiene, maximize profitability, and meet business objectives.

  • Accounting Operations:

You will oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions. You will also coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

  • Collaboration & Support:

You will work closely with remote teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial tasks. You will liaise with other departments (e.g., operations, supply chain, HR, marketing) to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

  • Process Improvement:

You will utilize and enhance accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, ERP platforms) and Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for efficient data analysis and reporting. You will identify, document, and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in financial operations.

This role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency in financial data interpretation and reporting. Experience with cloud-based ERP systems and financial modeling tools is also required.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), PRC Board Passer certification. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, AR/AP, month-end reconciliation is required. Experience creating financial reports, ideally in e-commerce or remote/digital businesses, is preferred.
