Job Title: Sr. Front End WordPress Developer

About the Role

This is a senior-level position responsible for leading front-end development efforts on our website using WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality user interface components with scalability in mind.
  • Turn wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code.
  • Implement new features to our WordPress website.
  • Perform routine maintenance and performance optimizations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4+ years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Expertise in ACF and Gutenberg.
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
  • Basic proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards.
  • A fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties.
  • The ability to work in US Pacific business hours (8am-5pm PST which corresponds to 12am-9am PH time, if not DST).
Bonus Requirements

While not required, it would be beneficial if you have experience with:

  • JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue.
  • Sketch and Invision.
  • Webflow.
  • Other tools and platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot.
