Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned WordPress Development Lead to spearhead our development activities, oversee and motivate the team, ensure tasks are delegated effectively, progress is tracked, and challenges are addressed promptly.


The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to write front-end and back-end code, develop custom themes and plugins, and integrate third-party services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This individual should be a skilled WordPress professional who can perform hands-on development and manage the team.


This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of WordPress best practices. If you have experience in leading a development team, managing projects from start to finish, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, we want to hear from you


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a WordPress developer using custom built themes, including multisite configuration, custom themes, plugins, ACF, and Gutenberg editor
  • 3+ years of work experience leading a development team
  • Proven expertise in Agile methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices and performance optimization techniques
  • Proficient in front-end technologies including SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery
  • Proficient in backend developments such as WordPress, PHP, MySQL, API integrations, JSON, and XML
  • Experienced in GIT workflows and code versioning tools such as Git, Github or Gitlab
