We are currently seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Professional to lead our R1 Cybersecurity Operations Team. The successful candidate will drive results for our customers by enabling them to invest more in patient care, thereby supporting the growth of our company and their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure 24/7 operations, effectively manage a team of skilled Cybersecurity professionals.
  2. Create and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills of the SOC team.
  3. Regularly conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions to manage security incidents efficiently.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely reporting of security incidents.
  6. Optimize SOC tools and technologies to achieve maximum efficiency.
  7. Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to improve our security posture.
  8. Develop and maintain SOC policies, procedures, and playbooks.
  9. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  10. Analyze incident data to identify areas for improvement within the SOC and implement best practices.
  11. Stay updated on the latest security trends and threats.
  12. Design and implement effective security solutions to protect our systems.
  13. Maintain security tools to identify potential security incidents, intrusions, and malware events.
  14. Generate trouble tickets and perform initial validation and triage of security incidents using OSINT and security tools.
  15. Analyze log files for suspicious activities and follow incident response workflows for efficient escalation.
  16. Determine root causes and remediation strategies based on incident data analysis.
  17. Research threat intelligence sources to stay current on malware and emerging threats.
  18. Manage cases throughout the incident lifecycle for moderate security incidents.
  19. Assist with compliance and change management policies and procedures.
  20. Participate in cybersecurity projects from inception to ensure security is considered.
  21. Develop and maintain metrics and reports on cybersecurity operations.
