  • Crew Offshoring Solutions Inc. is a business process outsourcing company that helps Australian businesses recruit and manage offshore teams.

Responsibilities

  • Managing tax filings and lodgements for the Australian business and the Philippines.
  • Process and/or oversee the processing of payroll in Australia and the Philippines.
  • Manage and/or oversee the payments of sales team or referral partner commissions.
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts.
  • Make end of month journals as required.
  • Oversee cash requirements of the business, taking into consideration of GST, withholding tax and other cash outflows in order to meet short and long term requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analysing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian and Philippines accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Finance Manager. Exposure to the Australian market required.
  • Bachelor's degree and CA or CPA qualification required.
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting requirements as well as the Philippines.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and tools, such as Xero and Quickbooks and other ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experienced in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
