The ideal candidate will bring unparalleled expertise in optimizing system performance, leveraging advanced profiling tools and real-time system profiling to drive end-to-end optimizations. With a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and performance profiling, they will collaborate with our cross-functional team to tackle complex challenges associated with high-performance platforms serving millions globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ultra-high-performance components of our trading engine
  • Optimize system internals including memory management, CPU cache usage, and NUMA awareness for exceptional throughput and response latency
  • Develop highly reliable backend services capable of handling sharp traffic surges while ensuring seamless 24/7 availability
  • Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive end-to-end optimizations
  • Collaborate with international partners and stakeholders in both English & Chinese

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • Proficiency in C++ or Rust with over 8 years of experience, along with deep understanding of system-level concepts such as lock-free programming, memory barriers, multithreading, and concurrency
  • Strong foundation in network-level optimizations, including TCP tuning and kernel bypass, with proven experience optimizing for low-latency environments
  • Prior experience building or maintaining high-frequency trading systems
