
Banquet Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Operations Manager to join our team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and quality in our banquet operations. The successful candidate will be able to supervise and control all aspects of the shift operation, monitor standards of service and food quality, and resolve any complaints that may arise.
- Supervise and control all aspects of the shift operation, including monitoring standards of service and food quality.
- Resolve any complaints or issues that may arise during the shift.
- Organize and coordinate all activities within the banquet operation, including food and beverage service and equipment arrangement.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of hotel guests to provide an excellent dining experience.
- E nsure that all areas are clean and sanitary, and that all operational equipment is in good working condition.
- Meet brand service standards to ensure the success of the banquet operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
- Ensure that all stations, cutlery, chinaware, hollowware etc. are in good working order.
- Conduct monthly inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Attend daily briefings, general staff meetings, and in-house training sessions.
- Monitor pantry and linen supplies to ensure they are adequate for service.
- Check on the satisfaction of all members/guests and report to management whether positive or negative.
- Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management or Management related course.
- At least 2 years working experience in a 4 - 5-Star Hotel.
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment.
- Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
- Take responsibility for achieving business results and preserving profits.
- Participate in regular evacuation drills.
- Inform management promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Maintain environmentally friendly practices.
- Be a role model of the company's values and standards.
