Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our cloud solutions team. This is a technical, consultative and client-facing role that will be accountable for solution development, delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and deliver creative cloud solutions for clients
  • Participate in technical envisioning, design and delivery of projects
  • Support project efforts from a technical perspective with solution architects
  • Implement designed solutions into client deliverables
  • Assist with design and deployment of client workloads into Azure
  • Provide technical expertise across four areas of specialization
    • Datacenter Transformation
    • Azure Infrastructure
    • DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
    • Cloud Automation

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in system administration, DevOps and/or software development and IT operations
  • 5+ years project experience migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep, ARM Templates and Ansible (or equivalent)
  • Implementation experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), Jenkins, and/or Bamboo (or another similar tool)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies (or demonstrated experience with AWS or GCP)
  • Automation experience - good scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies
  • Performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques
  • Strong analytical problem-solving ability
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience in Chef/Puppet, Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
