We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our global team of software engineers. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of customer experience.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art microservices based on JVM technologies. You will interact with other services and industry-leading open-source software, driving innovation and efficiency in our Voice platform.

As a senior engineer, you will lead change requests, participate in code reviewing, mentoring junior engineers, and conduct research on new technologies. You will evaluate, prototype, and plan improvements to the platform, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and implementation of RESTful APIs, reusable software components, and scalable microservices. They will possess expert knowledge and experience coding in Java, object-oriented programming, and design patterns. A good understanding of algorithms and data structures is also essential.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience working with cloud providers like AWS, Linux, Git, SQL, and CI tools. They will be familiar with asynchronous programming, caching technologies, message queues, Java frameworks, RDBMS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 6 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong background in design and implementation of RESTful APIs and scalable microservices
  • Expert knowledge and experience coding in Java, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, Linux, Git, SQL, and CI tools
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming, caching technologies, message queues, Java frameworks, RDBMS, Docker, and Kubernetes
