Automation Testing Role

As an automation tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth implementation and completion of automation testing activities within our SIT environment.

Our ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of automation approaches and strategies, as well as experience with automation tools such as HP ALM, TOSCA, and UFT. They should also possess excellent test execution, analysis, and reporting skills, with knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.

  2. Comply with our ITG Quality Framework and ensure that all test processes are followed according to established SDLC and STLC procedures.
  3. Plan, control, and implement automation testing processes in accordance with schedule and overall test efforts.
  4. Define and monitor execution of test tasks and activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  5. Set automation metrics and collaborate with the team to meet or exceed set targets.
  6. Collaborate closely with other team members and departments, providing input to Test Lead on test planning, scheduling, and estimation, as well as identifying potential risks and issues.
  7. Design, develop, test, and maintain automated test scripts, creating and maintaining test data for optimal script performance.
  8. Execute scripts for Automation Regression or other Functional/Non-Functional Automated test scripts, providing well-documented proof of testing and defect information.
  9. Communicate progress and status through regular test reports, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve test efficiency.
