Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, API Automation Tester

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of APIs through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance API functionality and security, contributing to the overall success of our technology solutions.

Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, Bruno, and Karate.

·       Integrate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines with Bitbucket and Bamboo for automated testing.

·       Implement authentication techniques such as OAuth, API keys, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) to secure API endpoints.

·       Conduct performance testing using Scala and JMeter to ensure optimal API performance.

·       Collaborate with development teams to provide insights and recommendations for API improvements.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications (must have)

·       Proficiency in using API testing tools like Postman, Bruno, or SOAPUI

·       Understanding of authentication techniques including OAuth, API keys, and JWT.

·       With strong automation background such as Karate/or Selenium

·       Experience with CICD pipeline integration, particularly Bitbucket and/or Bamboo.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills (good to have)

• Exposure to API development processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as Scala or JMeter.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams.
