About the Role
  • As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading our aftersales and service function, ensuring our machines remain reliable after purchase.
  • You will oversee a team of technicians for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance, ensuring seamless delivery of our services to customers.
  • Your role will also involve evaluating spare parts availability and meeting customer needs in a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing warranty claims, complaints handling, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • In addition, you will develop training programs for dealers and farmers on proper machinery use and maintenance.
  • Gathering feedback from the field and collaborating with management to enhance products and services is a key aspect of this role.
  • Fostering a service culture that balances family-business care with professional reliability is also essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and extensive experience in managing technicians and service operations.

A graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field is required. The successful applicant should have at least 7 years' experience in service/aftersales/technical support, preferably in an agricultural or heavy equipment context.

Strong technical knowledge of machinery maintenance and spare parts is essential. A track record of managing teams in provincial or rural settings is also highly valued. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle escalations while maintaining relationships are crucial for success in this role.
