Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to create engaging and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design expertise, technical WordPress skills, and the ability to balance aesthetics with technical requirements.

The Web Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining client websites by combining design expertise with technical skills. This includes designing visually appealing layouts, graphics, and digital assets, populating and customizing websites using WordPress, and ensuring seamless functionality through HTML, CSS, and plugins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design website layouts, graphics, and digital assets that captivate users and promote business growth
  • Populate and manage websites using WordPress, including installing/configuring plugins, customizing themes, and maintaining site content
  • Implement and modify designs using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP/JavaScript when needed
  • Evaluate and ensure websites are responsive, optimized, and aligned with branding and client requirements
  • Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of client projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or layout issues efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Web Developer or WordPress Designer
  • Strong graphic design skills with attention to detail, color palette, and typography
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Figma)
  • Expert knowledge of WordPress, including plugins, themes, and site population
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and familiarity with PHP and JavaScript is beneficial
  • Understanding of responsive web design principles and user experience best practices
  • Effective time management and communication skills to work independently on multiple projects
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact is a plus
  • Digital marketing or SEO basics knowledge is desirable
