About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the project, including team management, contractor selection and management, quality assurance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers, to ensure smooth communication and project execution
  • Ensure that all project activities are carried out in compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Oversee the review and approval of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
  • Apply civil engineering principles to ensure designs meet required standards and regulations
  • Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and construction workers
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support to team members
  • Select, negotiate with, and manage contractors and subcontractors for various project activities
  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure work is completed to specifications, within budget, and on schedule

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Licensed Civil Engineer in the relevant jurisdiction
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction project management or civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Experience with government or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and risk management strategies

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, on-site role with some office-based responsibilities for planning and reporting. Occasional travel to project sites, client meetings, or vendor locations may be required.
