Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The Digital Workplace Expert will be a hands-on expert responsible for the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services across the organization. This includes Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and related security and compliance features.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the technical owner and subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 platforms, with a focus on performance, integration, and user experience.
  • Leading the configuration, deployment, and optimization of services across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and related compliance/security tools.
  • Collaborating with architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient service delivery.
  • Providing technical guidance and documentation to support platform standardization and governance in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.
  • Partnering with Application Support and TBM teams to drive adoption, training, and effective use of productivity tools.
  • Supporting service integration across M365, Box, and other platforms within the digital workplace ecosystem.
  • Providing third-level support and acting as an escalation point for complex issues and service interruptions.
  • Working collaboratively within Agile teams, embracing iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and adaptive planning.
  • Providing mentoring to junior engineers and regional IT staff, ensuring consistent capabilities across the organization.
