Job Title: 3D Building Information Modeller

Role Summary:

As a 3D building information modeller, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models for building services. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of MEP, structural systems, and construction documentation, with experience in Autodesk Revit and associated toolsets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality parametric Revit models and libraries for MEP and other AEC assets.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure models align with design intent and construction requirements.
  • Implement BIM workflows and processes to improve project coordination and delivery.
  • Perform clash detection and construction coordination.
  • Prepare architectural or engineering documentation as required.
  • Maintain model and content quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Revit drafting/modeling experience.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with demonstrated experience in content/family creation.
  • Familiarity with Australian Building and BIM Standards.
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Autodesk Revit and associated toolsets.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Rhino3D.
  • Experience using Revit, BIM360.
  • Experience with visual programming tools such as Dynamo or Grasshopper.
  • Experience developing BIM content for product manufacturers or libraries.
