We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to spearhead our data infrastructure strategy.

About the Role:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and cloud-based systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in unlocking the full potential of our data assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain robust data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data in real-time and batch formats.
  2. Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions using tools like Snowflake.
  3. Builddata-intensive applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  4. Improve Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  5. Maintain and monitor various data applications, pipelines, and databases.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to create analytical products and services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading junior engineers.
  • Proficiency in Python with data manipulation frameworks and SQL.
  • Experience with REST APIs and scalable API data platforms.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and Airflow.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and event streaming technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
