About the JobIn this role, you will assist dentists during procedures, prepare patients for treatments, and maintain dental instruments and equipment. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, operating equipment, and providing suction.
- Prepare patients for dental treatments by explaining procedures, making them comfortable, and providing instructions.
- Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the system.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
The following qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
