Job Title:

Payroll Specialist

This role involves managing critical payroll processes with high attention to detail. Responsibilities include processing time worked, accurate data entry into payroll software, creating and distributing customer invoices, and reports.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a background in accounting. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process payroll tasks such as verifying time worked, data entry, ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
  2. Assist the billing department with generating, reviewing, and distributing customer invoices, maintaining billing records, resolving billing discrepancies.
  3. Compile, verify, and review data from multiple sources for accuracy, maintain records in payroll systems.
  4. Safeguard sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, provide updates to management, communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll, billing, or accounting roles.
  • Experience in staffing or temporary labor industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll compliance and tax regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with time-tracking systems and accounting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently.
