Medical Transcription Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. This is a remote opportunity that requires the ability to transcribe live patient calls and take dictations from clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dermatology transcription, excellent listening and comprehension skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe live patient calls and take dictations from clients specifically in dermatology
  • Convert audio files and download to Express Scribe
  • Transcribe within 24 hours all files received during the day
  • Ensure 98% to 100% accuracy in transcription of audio files sent by clients
  • Proofread all transcriptions prior to entering data in visit notes to avoid errors
  • Enter data in EMR visit notes once proofreading is completed
  • Notify clients after completion of entering data in IMS visit notes
  • Complete all dictations for the day from clients
  • Perform additional tasks dependent on client requests
  • Complete note during encounter incorporating essential elements as dictated by providers
  • Complete prescriptions dictated by providers and send them electronically

Requirements:

  • Must be a Medical Allied Graduate
  • At least 1 year experience in dermatology transcription
  • Good attention to detail
  • Typing speed of 55 WPM with 95% accuracy in transcription
  • Good listening, comprehension, and research skills
  • Good English grammar and pronunciation both oral and written
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminologies
  • Ability to focus and concentrate with little distraction
  • Trainings and certifications will be provided
  • Physically fit to work in a BPO setting
