Technical Support Team Lead

The Tech Support Team Lead is a pivotal role at Datamatics, responsible for overseeing the technical support team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a BPO/Call Center environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this position.
Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and motivating the technical support team to achieve performance targets. This involves conducting regular team meetings to discuss challenges, updates, and improvements. Additionally, providing coaching and training to enhance the team's technical and customer service skills is crucial. A positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous learning is fostered by the successful candidate.
This role also entails assisting the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Handling escalated customer inquiries and ensuring timely resolution is key. Staying updated with product updates, software releases, and industry trends to provide accurate guidance is vital. Implementing best practices in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems is also an essential part of this job.
A strong understanding of troubleshooting, networking, software/hardware systems, and relevant technologies is required. Leadership and team management skills, along with analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and a customer service orientation, are highly valued in this position.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Collaboration and cross-functional coordination with various departments are also necessary for seamless issue resolution. Adaptability and continuous learning are essential for staying up-to-date with evolving technologies.
Data analytics and process optimization are critical components of this role. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are vital for interacting with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
