We are looking for a skilled Content Editor to refine and enhance our blog content, ensuring it meets the highest standards for quality, accuracy, and alignment with our client goals.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content, preferably blogs or articles. A strong understanding and application of Associated Press (AP) style guidelines is ideal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Edit AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy.
  • Strategically add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience.
  • Ensure all client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately and consistently represented.
  • Select and insert appropriate images, including occasionally writing effective alt text.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate any grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation mistakes.
  • Maintain a high standard of content quality, adhering to project guidelines and client expectations.

Requirements include:

  • Proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading.
  • Strong AP style proficiency and familiarity with basic SEO principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a meticulous eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
  • Strong language skills with a genuine passion for language and a natural wordsmithing ability.
  • Proficiency in Grammarly and ability to work quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, preferably aligning with EST for easier collaboration.
