Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Content Editor to refine and enhance blog content, ensuring it meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and client alignment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles and AP style guidelines, with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content. They will be detail-oriented and have a genuine passion for language and a natural wordsmithing ability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy
  • Strategically adding relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience
  • Ensuring client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately represented
  • Selecting and inserting appropriate images, including occasionally writing effective alt text
  • Conducting thorough proofreading to eliminate grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation mistakes
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • Proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content
  • Strong understanding and application of AP style guidelines
  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles, including keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy
  • Strong language skills and a genuine passion for language and a natural wordsmithing ability
