Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features inside the app.
  • Shape the future of the Android team through strategic decision-making.
  • Own, maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
  • Participate in discussions — Product, Design, Engineering.
  • Review code changes and support other teammates.
  • Handle critical issues or unexpected challenges effectively.
  • Manage feature releases and provide nightly builds for quality assurance.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on innovation.
  • Expertise in Android components and architecture.
  • Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app with a focus on UI/UX.
  • Product design intuition and user empathy are essential.
  • Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX and make it exceptional.
  • Understanding of testing principles and how to write effective tests.
  • Self-drive to improve the app and codebase beyond specifications.
  • Strong expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests.
  • Excellent communication skills and a user-oriented problem-solving approach are required.
  • Ability to work with continuous feedback from leaders and adapt accordingly.
