The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in Atticus Advisory Solutions Inc. by accurately recording and applying customer payments to both deposits on projects that have just been sold and outstanding invoices on completed projects within our company's ERP system.

Responsibilities

  1. Receive and review customer payments from various channels, including checks, credit cards, ACH, and financing companies, to ensure timely and accurate recording of payments.
  2. Enter payment details into NetSuite, including customer information, invoice numbers, payment amounts, and posting dates, while adhering to company policies and procedures related to cash application.
  3. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, such as incorrect amounts or missing invoice information, by contacting the immediate supervisor.
  4. Ensure attention to detail is maintained, particularly with regards to funding provided by financing companies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of US GAAP accounting practices
  2. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, written and verbal
  3. 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  5. Experience working with Netsuite or similar ERP systems
  6. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work
  7. Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  8. Able to work independently and as part of a team
