Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a skilled financial operations professional.

We are seeking an individual with expertise in maintaining key accounting records, managing Xero account coding, bank reconciliations, and processing payroll. As part of this team, you will be responsible for various tasks such as prepayments, accruals, fixed asset coding and reconciliations, supplier invoices in Hubdoc, BAS/IAS preparation, and end-of-year payroll reporting.

You will also have the chance to grow into processing Australian tax returns and take on other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Team Manager or Service Delivery Manager.

About You:
  • A graduate degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferred.

You should have extensive knowledge of client accounts, general AU Accounting/Bookkeeping experience, and at least two years of experience in Australian accounts. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also essential.
