Cloud Engineer Position

A Cloud Engineer with a background in AWS services is sought after to work on cloud-based projects. This role involves collaborating with teams to design and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in AWS infrastructure, including experience with migration, optimization, and transformation of applications. They should also have knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. The candidate should also be able to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.

Requirements

Technical Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years' experience working with AWS services and infrastructure
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect and SysOps Admin are preferred

General Knowledge and Experience:

  • Innate sense of urgency and 'do whatever it takes' attitude to meet customer expectations
  • Highly self-motivated and dedicated
  • Able to coordinate several tasks/projects at once and pivot priorities easily
  • Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills
